Representation: I am appalled at your future plans. Number of planned houses is out of proportion. There is no justification that we should be told to take more than are fair share of what the Govt. dictates. By increasing the load now it will mean that in 15-20? years to come that the village will be expected to have a still higher proportion. Why have you penalized our village, like Thurston and Elmswell. Little/no allowance has been made about infrastructure. Build the infrastructure first including the A14. For each person who dies before due to accidents or stress will I hope sue the Councillors for conspiring to destroy village life.

Mid Suffolk - Woolpit - Destruction. I am appalled at your future plans for Woolpit. The number of planned houses for the village is out of all proportion to the size of the village. There is no justification that we should be told to take more than are fair share of what the Govt. dictates. By increasing the load now it will mean that in 15-20??? yrs to come that the village will be expected to have a still higher proportion. Why have you penalized our village as you have done for Thurston and Elmswell. Little or no allowance has been made or said about infrastructure of roads, schools and medical facilities. Even if you do push ahead with the proposed plans then for sanity's sake build the infrastructure first including the A14. For each person who dies before their due date due to accidents or stress will I hope sue the Councillors for conspiring to destroy village life. If you are so keen on abiding by govt. dictates be honest and build a new town away from existing villages and compensate the few affected homes accordingly. I hope as Councillors you are able to stand up and be counted for preserving villages instead of destroying them.
