There are a number of significant issues that the overall size of these 3 developments will have on the village infrastructure. Roads are all too narrow with numerous pinch points making the road system too busy and overloaded for the safety of all residents. There are no job opportunities in Glemsford so all new households will have to commute externally from the village by car adding over 1000 road journeys a day to small narrow unclassified roads.
The village is built on Boulder Clay which causes problems with water run off and flooding, more concrete will increase this issue. Sewage leaks in new built homes now.
