Representation: | The large scale of the proposals is a cause for concern given Glemsford's roads are already very busy and, in some parts of the village, dangerous as a result. Bumper-to-bumper parking is commonplace along many roads, often obscuring visibility at junctions and leading to access problems. One need only try and drive along Brook Street when the refuse carts are doing their rounds to witness the problems and the potential danger to road users and pedestrians. What is more, all approaches to the village are narrow country lanes, already unsuitable for the volume of traffic they are required to carry. |
