Representation: Local landscapes and views must be protected. In the same way councils issue requests for developmnent sites, they should also issue requests for landscapes and views to be protected from development. Also Conservation Areas, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Sites of Special Scientific Interest and Visually Important Open Spaces must all be protected with clear and unambiguous guidelines. Development should go where there is already suitable sufficient infrastructure. Sustainability must also refer to the natural environment and not just to housing. Large developments are inappropriate for any villages; smaller scales ones should be spread out evenly, sparingly and proportionally
