Summary:

Some concern regarding the potential allocation of these sites and without knowing the use it is not possible to provide much detail. Site is immediately adjacent to the Tostock Conservation Area and Grade II listed Ticehurst Farm. Further excavation could impact upon any archaeological remains that may be present depending of the depth of any excavation required and this should be considered.

The presence of these heritage assets and their settings should be considered carefully as part of the site allocation process. The potential impact upon non-designated heritage in the form of unknown archaeology should also be considered.

Summary:

The Parish Council would not be averse to a limited development on this site for small commercial units sympathetic to the style of existing commercial buildings adjacent to the site.
