This is a large field between Wyverstone and Long Thurlow and quite unsuitable for residential development. Neither Wyverstone nor Long Thurlow has any facilities. They are isolated rural hamlets with multiple listed buildings. Any residential development would have major traffic implications for all adjoining villages, in particular Bacton and Badwell Ash. The proposed site would create in effect a single unsustainable ribbon development out of Long Thurlow and Wyverstone. Neither has any local transport and both are a 20 minute drive from Stowmarket and Bury St Edmunds.

I support the designation of this site as Not Suitable for residential development.
The site is outside the village boundary and 30mph limit and is ribbon development.
The road has no pavement and is only just wide enough for the current volume of traffic, particularly given the high volume of large agriculture-related vehicles.
