Representations on BMSDC Joint Local Plan Consultation Document (Interactive) - SS0206 - Land east of Church Lane

Representation ID: 8702

OBJECT Tom Blake

I do not believe that building such a large development here next to a Primary School would be a safe option the access road Church lane is currently a dead end and the traffic flow already causes issues at the junction with Lower Street an increase here would be an accident waiting to happen due to what is already a blind corner to the left on approach the green fields on this site are what makes Sproughton a village

OBJECT Mr David Brown

The land contributes to exceptional visual amenity along Hadleigh road entry to Ipswich and supports the setting of Red House .it is our area of outstanding natural beauty with an undulating landscape. It is as important to Sproughton much as Dedham Vale is important to a neighbouring context. Housing should not damage such a sensitive entrance to Ipswich and Chantry Park. Traffic impacts of housing cannot be accommodated by the current road links . Housing should have direct access to major arterial roads not onto Hadleigh Road.
