I am supportive. However, as stated, I would like to see more in terms of transformation to assist town-centres like Sudbury to affect change.

We agree with Option TC1 that within Town Centres support will be given to retail uses, culture and community uses and residential development. The inclusion of residential development within a Town Centre is important to the town's function and diversity. This residential use enables the town to be active not just during trading hours but throughout the day, resulting in the area being more vibrant, varied and a more sustainable place to live. This also assists with creating a more vibrant community.

Retail policy inclined towards town centre growth, however as a rural community this is impractical without improved parking or an efficient transport network.
