COMMENT Mr Peter Powell

Summary:

Both policies have their merit. This policy limits itself to size but I think it is numbers that matter not size. There should be proportionate outdoor space suitable for employees to relax and mix that goes beyond say a car park.

COMMENT Stowmarket Society (Mr Michael Smith)

Summary:

It is not clear to us what sort of sites you have in mind here. On large employment sites there comes a need for some structural landscaping to break the area up. It is also important that every individual site makes a good contribution to the landscaped character of the wider area, and that planting margins are not lost to incremental expansion of surfaced areas. If this is what you mean we would support this approach.
