Representations on BMSDC Joint Local Plan Consultation Document (Interactive) - Haughley
OBJECT Suffolk Wildlife Trust (Mr James Meyer)
Sites SS0047 and SS0149 - these sites border the River Gipping which is a key part of the green infrastructure network in the area, it must be ensured that the river is protected from any direct or indirect adverse impacts which may result from development in the area.
COMMENT Mr A Herbert represented by Brooks Leney (Mrs Natalie Winspear)
This comment relates to the proposed settlement development boundary for Haughley - The sites currently identified are considered appropriate for allocation or inclusion within the settlement boundary. However, further sites are also considered appropriate in light of Haughley's status as a Core Village (see response to Q. 79)
COMMENT Mr Alf Hannan
Yes and No. Yes for Haughley. No for Haughley New Street and Haughley Green as these are not designated in the joint settlement hierarchy categories and yet are allocated proposed new draft settlement boundaries. Perhaps Haughley New Street and Haughley Green could be categorised as Hamlets and Countryside.
COMMENT Haughley Parish Council (Alf Hannan)
Yes and No. Yes for Haughley. No for Haughley New Street and Haughley Green as these are to designated in the hierarchy categories and yet are allocated proposed new draft settlement boundaries.
