OBJECT Wickham Skeith Parish Council (Tara Goodacre)

Summary:

Following comments received from residents and, taking the overall view that the preferred option would not be for large-scale developments, the Parish Council would like to protect historical boundaries but consider infill and smaller-scaled, controlled developments and propose the following additions to the settlement boundaries (please see maps attached).

To include land between St Andrew's Close and 9 Grange Road, with building line to continue from rear boundary-east of 9 Grange Road.
To include section of land between 17 Grange Road and Bumbledown.
To include land south of 7 Grange Road (land belonging to 7 Grange Road only)

Summary:

Following the meeting of Wickham Skeith Parish Council on 9th October, we understand the need to plan a manageable number of new houses. in Wickham Skeith, as if we do not agree on a plan, a larger number of houses may be imposed on us. We would support small-scale, staggered building over the next twenty years.
