Summary:

The Grade II* listed Lodge and Grade II listed Ackworth House and The Lodge
Cottage are located to the south of site SS0180 although there are no known
designated heritage assets within the site itself. The open setting of these heritage
assets is an important aspect of their significance.

The presence of these heritage assets should be considered carefully as part of the
site allocation process.

OBJECT East Bergholt Community Land Trust (Mr Christopher McEwen)

Summary:

I recognise that the sites already approved by the Planning Committee but possibly subject to Judicial Review known as Moore's Lane and Heath Road should be shown on the consultation map, BUT we strongly object to the site on the North East side of Hadleigh Road.

We do not believe that that there is any justification for a site of this size which is totally contrary to the Neighbourhood Plan. We also believe that with the current approvals of circa 230 homes another large site would swamp the village and be unsustainable.

OBJECT Lyn Matthews

Summary:

I have recently moved to the area and was aware of the East Bergholt Local Plans that appeared to be an acceptable approach to the development of the village. This large development is not and will change the character, road use and general feel of the whole village.I would expect that such an increase would need supportive infrastructure.

I feel that Babergurgh has misinformed me and I have bought the property in the area on the misinformation.
