As agents to the owners of site SS0582 we support the allocation of the site in the Local Plan. The site is subject to planning application DC/17/03100 which is in outline for 25 homes with full details submitted of the vehicular access. This planning application was approved by planning committee on the 8th November 2017. We attach a copy of the committee report to these representations.
The application was supported by planning officers, the consultees and the Parish Council and received very little local neighbour comment.
The development is now deliverable within five years. Paragraph 47 of the National Planning Policy Framework requires that deliverable sites in the Councils five year supply are available now, offer a suitable location for development now, and are achievable with a realistic prospect that housing will be delivered in five years. Site SS0582 meets these criteria.
