Object to site being listed as not suitable for development.

Large part of the site is closer to the services and facilities in the village centre than much of the existing built development in Mendlesham and rights of way on this side of the village make the site extremely sustainable as new residents would be able to walk to the village and its facilities.

Whilst the site in its entirety is large, clearly a scheme can be tailored to deliver a number of homes appropriate to the size of the village. The site also has the potential to provide other social infrastructure in discussion with the local community, taking into account the impact on heritage. Minimal impact of existing community in Mendlesham.
