We consider that this site is physically separate from the village, with it lying to the north of the main road out of the village / the lane heading east from the village, which forms a strong defensible boundary to further growth of the village to the north. The site is also distant from services and facilities in the village and we consider it would result in a significant incursion into the open countryside. As such, we do not consider this to be suitable for housing development.

Sites SS0574 and SS0739 - these sites border Mill Lane CWS, further assessment is therefore required prior to any allocation to determine whether development of these sites is likely to result in any adverse impact on the CWS.
