Development of this area would effectively be a back garden scheme with a large number of dwellings that would change the character of this part of the village into a housing estate. It has poor access onto a very busy through road, which represents a danger to all users. Village facilities are already strained with the local school at capacity. The village must be reclassified as a hinterland with limited ribbon type development only. Small houses our young people can afford must be our priority not the larger variety currently on offer. This area of the village is already over-developed.
