The area identified as SS0012 is not the parish council preferred site but accept that this is already in the planning process with a live application. Should this development be successful we would naturally assume this development will count against our housing quota.

The site is available and deliverable. At the time of writing a revised application has been submitted under reference 1866/17. The revised application has sought to address previous comments from consultees. Comments are awaited regarding the latest scheme revision for 50 Houses. The site can contribute to the current short fall in delivery of both market and affordable housing. The site will provide policy compliant levels of affordable housing and developer contributions. The site abuts the existing settlement boundary. There is developer interest in the property, so early delivery of housing is achievable subject to planning permission.
